HC Deb 26 November 1914 vol 68 cc1337-8W
Mr. KING

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he has received representations or protests in connection with the statement made in Canada that the attempted immigration into British Columbia of Hindus on the steamship "Komagata Maru," was planned and carried out by Germans, in order to cause disaffection and division in the British Empire; and that at least a hundred of these Hindus were notorious criminals; and, if so, whether he has made any reply?

Mr. C. ROBERTS

No such representations or protests have been received by the Secretary of State.
