Major WHITEasked the President of the Local Government Board whether he has received a resolution from the North Meols parish council praying that steps should be taken to substitute some method of secret voting at the triennial election of parish councillors for the existing regulations; and if he proposes to take any action in the matter?
§ Mr. BURNSI have received the resolution referred to. As stated in reply to previous questions, the amendment of the existing regulations for the election of parish councillors is a matter which I have under consideration.
