§ Mr. LESLIE SCOTTasked the President of the Board of Trade, whether his attention has been directed to the annual reports issued by the Imperial Statistical Office of Germany since 1909 on the business returns of German joint stock companies (Die Geschäftsergebnisse der deutschen Aktiengesellschaften); and whether he has considered the advisability of an inquiry into the value of such reports and the possibility of providing useful and trustworthy information, in this or other ways, as to the rate of profit of industrial concerns in this country?
