Mr. POINTERasked the President of the Local Government Board whether he is aware that the policy adopted by certain boards of guardians, and sanctioned by the Local Government Board, of paying vaccination officers fixed salaries instead of by fees will tend to create sinecures for these officials as the result of the marked increase in the number of declarations of conscientious objection to vaccination; and whether he will consider the desirability of preventing such sinecures being created?
