HC Deb 20 June 1912 vol 39 c1978W
Mr. ROWNTREE

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether the Insurance Commissioners intend issuing Regulations exempting persons who, under the National Insurance Act, accept seasonal work, say for three or four months at seaside and health resorts, as waiters, shop assistants, etc., or in confectionery and other trades affected by the Christmas trade, and who may not be employed during the remainder of the year?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The Commissioners have no power to issue a general Regulation of this nature.
