§ Mr. GOLDSMITHasked whether a woman whose husband is regularly employed by a farmer, and who herself is employed in the house or dairy on one day in the week only, will become an insured person under the National Insurance Act?
§ Mr. MASTERMANIf the employment is regular and not casual, it is employment within the meaning of the Act, unless no money payment is made. The employed person can, however, claim a certificate of exemption on the ground of dependence on her husband, and in that event the employer's contribution only will be payable.
