§ Mr. MASTERMANIn addition to the societies named in my answer of 10th June1442W as dealing especially with domestic servants, I believe that nearly all the societies marked in Cd. 6238, as accepting women, will receive domestic servants. I hope to be able to issue shortly a statement of the conditions of entrance to such societies, whether with medical certificate or otherwise. For the use of those servants whose sickness and disablement allowance is practically guaranteed by their employers, I have no doubt that schemes for alternative superannuation benefit under Section 13 will be adopted by many of the principal approved societies. The Commissioners will issue this week tables showing superannuation benefits actuarialy equivalent to the benefits for which they may be substituted, and as soon as any approved societies have adopted any of them I shall be glad to notify the hon. Gentleman.
