§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe rules as to the payment of contributions under Part I. are set out in the Third Schedule to the Bill. The ordinary rule is that the deductions should be made from the wages that relate to the same period as the deductions, whether it be weekly, monthly, or longer, at the time the wages are paid; and it is not intended to encourage their payment at other times.
