HC Deb 21 February 1911 vol 21 c1865W
Mr. THOMAS F. SMYTH

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland, if the Congested Districts Board have received a memorial from a number of people residing in the electoral division of Bonnybeg, Mohill rural district, county Leitrim, asking that a grant may be given to them to help to make the old road from Bonnybeg to Keelogue; and whether, if a portion of the cost is defrayed by the local district council, the Board will contribute the other portion, as the people residing in this locality require a road badly?

Mr. BIRRELL

The memorial referred to has been received. The Congested Districts Board do not make grants for the repair of roads, even if the District Council contributes part of the cost.
