HC Deb 13 February 1911 vol 21 c822W
Mr. KELLY

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland on how many working days during the year 1910 did the Registrar-General for Ireland attend at his office?

Mr. BIRRELL

I am informed by the Registrar-General for Ireland that he attended at his office on 268 days in the year 1910, the total number of working days in the year being 257, if the customary annual leave of the Head of a Department had been taken.
