HC Deb 04 December 1911 vol 32 cc1169-70W
Mr. NEWMAN

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been drawn to the mutilation of two cattle, the property of a farmer named Coppinger, at Cravnagh, near Gort; whether as a result of their injuries both animals had to be destroyed; whether Coppinger is a boycotted person; and whether the police have succeeded in making any arrests in connection with the outrage?

Mr. BIRRELL

The police authorities inform me that on 9th November two cows belonging to a farmer named Coppinger were slightly injured, but had not to be destroyed. Coppinger is not boycotted in any way. No arrests have been made up to the present.
