HC Deb 04 December 1911 vol 32 c1169W
Mr. TOUCHE

asked (1) whether it is now proposed that, under the scheme of national insurance, a servant is to be entitled to receive 7s. 6d. a week when she is ill, whether she be in hospital, infirmary, or at the house in which she is employed; (2) whether, under the proposed system of national insurance, a servant must pay 3d. a week if she receives board and lodging, although her money wages may be as low as 3s., 2s., or 1s. per week; and (3) whether it is proposed that a charwoman who is employed for one day only per week will have to pay the full premium of 3d. per week under the scheme of national insurance?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I would refer the hon. Member to the answers given this afternoon to the similar questions asked by the hon. Member for the Ludlow Division of Shropshire.
