§ Mr. SUMMERBELLasked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies, in regard to the transfer of the telephone system of Trinidad from the Commercial Telephone Company to a new Company by the Legislative Council of that Colony, if he can state whether it is the intention of the Government to take steps with the object of the Colony assuming possession of the telephone system?
