§ Mr. GLADSTONEI beg to answer this question on behalf of my right hon. Friend. On the application of the local authorities concerned, I have made Orders declaring section 85 of the Public Health Acts (Amendment) Act to be in force in 33 boroughs and 32 urban districts. The Act does not empower a county council to apply for an Order.
