asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can state the price in London of the 4lb. loaf of bread; and the average market price of wheat in England about the 15th of each month since January, 1908?

supplied the following particulars:—

Average "Gazette" price of British wheat in England and Wales, and predominant price of bread in London at the middle of each of the months from January, 1908, to August, 1909; and average declared value of imported wheat during each of the months from January, 1908, to July, 1909:—
