§ Mr. BURNSThe following table gives the number of local authorities upon whom have been conferred in each of the years mentioned the power of a parish council under Section 8 (1) (h) of the Local Government Act, 1894, to accept and hold any gifts of property, real or personal, for the benefit of the inhabitants of their district or any part thereof:—
This power cannot be conferred upon a rural district council.
