§ Mr. HagueThe estimated outturn for expenditure by my Department on pay and other current expenditure on goods and services for 1996–97 is £2,583 million. This is consistent with the definition used in table 3.6 of the "Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses 1997–98", Cm 3601. Information on the amount which is spent on goods and services purchased in Wales is not available.
