To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will list the percentage of flights operated on scheduled services by British Airways and its franchises from(a) all United Kingdom airports, (b) London area airports and (c) Heathrow and Gatwick. [39500]

In 1995, British Airways and its franchisees operated 38 per cent. of lights from all United Kingdom airports, 37 per cent. of those from London area airports and 42 per cent. of those at Heathrow or Gatwick taken together.
