§ Mr. SoamesAlthough no studies into racial harassment in the armed forces have been undertaken by my Department, it has been made clear throughout the services that racial harassment, abuse or discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated. Complaints of racial harassment or discrimination will be investigated and, if substantiated, appropriate action will be taken against the offenders.
