§ Mr. Kynoch[holding answer 14 December 1995]: The revenue consequences across all Scottish Office programmes of PFI projects over the three years 1996–97 to 1998–99 are estimated at approximately £140 million in total. These estimates are assumed to include financing, operating, maintenance and all other relevant revenue costs. In practice the size and timing of payments depend on the timing of agreement to, and completion of, contracts and on the delivery of specific services to specified standards.
