To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement regarding progress on the refurbishment of Eland house. [38896]

Eland house is currently being constructed by Land Securities, which expects to be able to hand over the building within the next three weeks.

Fitting-out works for Department of the Environment occupation will commence shortly thereafter.
