§ Mr. SheermanTo ask the Secretary of State for Education what percentage and how many students are now admitted to higher education courses on the basis of national vocational qualifications rather then A-levels. [19098]
§ Mr. BoswellInformation published in the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service annual report 1993–94 shows that 159,300 applicants were accepted to first degree and HND courses in autumn 1994 with A-level qualifications—63 per cent. of home acceptances.
