The readily available information relates to the population of 15 year old males and females in Prison Service establishments on 30 June 1992, 30 June 1993 and 31 August 1993. I therefore attach three tables detailing the population of untried, convicted unsentenced and sentenced inmates by establishment, split by sex for these dates. The information is drawn from central records which are subject to the errors inherent in a large computerised database.394W
