To ask the Secretary of State for Education what level of access funds will be made available for the academic year 1993–94.

My right hon. Friend's expenditure plans, as set out in the departmental report (Cm 2210) published last month, include access funds provision for institutions in England of £23.8 million in 1993–94. A copy of the report is in the Library.
