§ Mr. Gwilym JonesI refer the hon. Gentleman to my announcement of 2 October that £35.9 million will be made available to local authorities in 1993–94 to meet the cost of their new responsibilities for community care. This includes the Department of Social Security transfer of £27.5 million, with a further £8.4 million for additional costs.
