asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, pursuant to the reply of the Earl Ferrers on 11 October 1993 on the Parole Board (H.L. Deb., WA 6–7,), they have now decided to make full-time appointments to the board and whether the Home Secretary has yet discussed the issue with the chairman.

Six full-time members were appointed to the Parole Board during the course of September. The Home Secretary has not yet had an opportunity to discuss the matter with the Chairman of the Board.
