§ Mr. McLoughlinAn additional sum of up to £75 million will be made available in areas affected by potential colliery closures depending on the scale of the job losses in prospect. The TECs concerned have been asked to coordinate action plans for new measures to alleviate the effects of closures. The actual amount available to each TEC will depend on the action plan that is finally agreed.
