To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is the minimum equivalent rate of hourly pay for her Department's staff aged 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 years; and the numbers employed at each age.

The table shows minimum basic hourly rates of pay for industrial and non-industrial staff in the Employment Department group:
