To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science, what changes he is planning to make in the funding of grant-maintained schools.

We are currently consulting about proposed changes for 1992–93, including the calculation of the amount of grant which grant-maintained schools receive in recompense for the money which LEAs spend centrally on items such as administration.
