§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales (1) what are the most up-to-date guidelines for children requiring long-term orthopaedic treatment being accommodated in mixed-intake children's wards;
(2) what proposals he has for the reduction of cross-infection risks in mixed-intake wards for children requiring long-term orthopaedic in-patient treatment.

(2) what were the waiting lists for ear, nose and throat operations for children for each health authority within Wales and for Wales as a whole in 1984, 1986 and 1988;
(3) what were the waiting lists for tonsil and adenoids removal operations for children for each health authority within Wales and for Wales as a whole in 1984, 1986 and 1988; and what is the current waiting list.

Total in-patient waiting lists figures for the ear, nose and throat specialty are given in the following table. Out-patient waiting lists relate only to appointments, and not to operations, and are not included in these figures.
