To ask the Minister for the Arts whether he will make a statement as to the future of the national film and television school.

§ Mr. Luce
The school continues to play an important role in providing training for directors, camera staff and other specialists for the audio-visual industry. It is currently developing longer term plans which I shall be looking at with interest. Funding for the school will rise from £1.6 million in 1988–89 to £1.8 million in 1991–92.
