§ Mr. IrvingTo ask the Secretary of State for Health if he has anything to add to his statement to the House on 16 March,Official Report, column 615, that he was not aware of any health authority which had closed facilities without the provision of appropriate alternative services in the light of the evidence from his Department recorded in the report on "Community Care Developments" from the Committee of Public Accounts.
§ Mr. MellorWe are seeking to further improve our monitoring of the development of community care services, but are not at present aware of any such closures.
