§ Mr. ShersbyTo ask the Secretary of State for Health what timetable he is proposing for consultation with professional bodies on the regulations to be made under clauses 13 and 14 of the Health and Medicines Bill following the Royal Assent.
§ Mr. MellorWe propose to start the consultation on these regulations shortly after Royal Assent with the intention of completing the process in time to implement the sight test changes with effect from 1 April 1989.
