§ Mr. MellorSo far as we are aware there is no general homelessness in St. Helena. However, a housing policy for the island is being drafted in consultation with the St. Helena Government in order to identify the medium and550W longer term housing needs of St. Helena. An interim programme of housing assistance totalling £250,000 for this year is now being prepared under our aid programme and will be announced shortly.
