To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what techniques are available to the Hong Kong authorities to determine whether a medicine pill contains rhino horn; and if he will make a statement.

We are not aware of any technique which be used to determine conclusively the presence of rhino horn in medical preparations.
