To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many people were arrested, how many charged and how many convicted following offences committed inside English Football League grounds during the 1987–88 football season.

There were 6,147 arrests at Football League matches in England and Wales during the 1987–88 season. Details of charges and convictions arising from offences at football matches are not held centrally.
