§ Mr. StanleyThe intention of recommendation 42 was to ensure that the police receive all the relevant benefits of industrial legislation. The Police Federation for Northern Ireland first raised recommendation 41 as a potential point for discussion by the Police Advisory Board on II May 1987 and the request is still receiving consideration.
