HC Deb 02 April 1987 vol 113 c605W
Mr. Heddle

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Mid-Staffordshire on Tuesday 17 March, Official Report, column 433, regarding the number of schemes for which derelict land grants have been paid in Staffordshire in the last five years, he will publish in the Official Report the number and details of schemes which have attracted grants in (a) Lichfield district council, (b) Cannock Chase district council and (c) Stafford borough council during the last five years.

Mr. John Patten

In the period 1982 to 1987, 10 schemes attracted derelict land grants totalling £1,141,210 in Lichfield district council, 87 schemes attracted derelict land grants totalling £10,508,099 in Cannock Chase district council and one scheme attracted derelict land grant of £288,374 in Staffordshire borough council. Details of these schemes could be made available only at disproportionate cost and would divert staff from the priority task of processing current applications for derelict land grant.
