§ 13. Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Transport what information he has as to which European cities operate (a) three and (b) four international airports.
§ Mr. Michael SpicerParis has three airports, or four counting Beauvais. Milan has two airports, with a third, Bergamo, which is used occasionally for charter traffic. Since the throughput of other European airports is so much lower than ours, a better comparison would be with the United States, where Los Angeles and New York each has five airports.
