§ Mr. RentonThe FCO is currently considering what action it will take to implement the recommendations of the report on Government purchasing as Departments have been asked to prepare action documents by 1 April. We have, however, already identified some areas where we can achieve greater value for money. These include improved arrangements for travel, freighting of officers' personal effects and obtaining supplies through central agencies.
