§ Mr. RaisonThe amounts of food aid provided by the United Kingdom are:
tonnes cereals 1982 1983 1984 Ethiopia 37,000 19,000 26,500 Chad — — — Burkina (formerly Upper Volta) — — — Central African Republic — — — Of the 1984 allocations the Government have made 11,500 tonnes available direct to British voluntary agencies conducting relief work in Ethiopia, and 15,000 tonnes have been provided by the world food programme with British funds. Allocations under the 1985 programme of bilateral food aid will be decided according to the needs of recipient countries.
