§ Mr. MacGregorMy Department leads for the United Kingdom in the London Dumping Convention and fulfils such specific obligations as are imposed on contracting parties by the convention. We are the licensing authority for England under the Dumping at Sea Act 1974 which was introduced in order to meet the United Kingdom's obligations under this convention and under the Oslo convention.
