Dr. Boyson

The numbers of people making weekly calls to local offices are not recorded. One hundred and fifty four claims for special hardship allowance are in payment by Rothwell local office. Details of retirement pension and widow's pension in payment are not kept on a geographical basis. However, there were 26 retirement pension and 5 widow's benefit claims received in this office during April, the latest available period. Claims for supplementary benefits in the Rothwell area are handled by the Leeds South East local office and are not recorded separately.
