asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Inland Revenue provides any guidance to employers who pay employees on a net-of-tax basis.

The Inland Revenue has prepared an instruction leaflet and special forms and tax tables to help employers who pay employees in this way. This new material will be available in local tax offices shortly.
