asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if copies of the annual report by the Treasury on "Civil Service Manpower Reductions" in 1982–83 will be made available to hon. Members.

Yes. The 1982–83 annual report has been given to the Treasury and Civil Service Select Committee and copies will be placed in the Library of the House.

Earlier reports were published by the Select Committee as House of Commons Papers: Nos. 423 (Session 1980–81) and 46 (Session 1982–83).
