Mr. Jim Callaghanasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what is the approximate number of day release students taking building courses at technical colleges under day release schemes; and what proportion of these came from council direct labour building departments and from private contracting firms, respectively, during the years 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983.
