What is the estimate of the fees which will be payable to merchant banks and stockbrokers in connection with the privatisation of British Telecom.

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Lord Cockfield)

The overall commission structure for the sale has still to be settled and until it is no such estimate can be made.
