§ Mr. Meadowcroftasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what progress has been made in implementing the recommendations of the national advisory committee on health and nutrition report on healthier eating.
§ Mr. John PattenThe discussion paper "Proposals for nutritional guidelines for health education in Britain" is not a Government report nor was it produced at the Government's request. It was prepared for the National Advisory Committee on Nutrition Education which is a joint British Nutrition Foundation/Health Education Council committee. The discussion paper was issued last year by the Health Education Council to individuals and bodies concerned with nutrition and health education, and we welcomed it as a contribution to discussion in this field.
