§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Prime Minister if, with a view to assessing the savings in public sector manpower when services in central Government, local government, the National Health Service or nationalised industries are privatised, she will require that all such privatisations are recorded centrally and that the numbers of persons employed at the time of transfer to the private sector are also recorded centrally.
