asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will ask the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis to investigate the traffic delays caused by the new traffic controls that have been introduced at Hyde park corner.

This is an operational matter for the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis. We understand that he has been monitoring the system since its introduction by the GLC and that it is being modified in the light of experience.
